Soft Rocker

7 WEEKS  |  INDIVIDUAL  PROJECT  |  2019

The Soft Rocker is a rocking chair for the home. Its arch shape allows users to sit in the chair in different ways. The entire chair has been upholstered to provide extreme comfort, and the cylinder cushion utilizes a playful weaving fabric to further enhance its playful aesthetic quality.

I used lots of organic, curvy shapes as my inspiration for this home use rocking chair mood board because I want it to provide a soft, comfortable ambience to the interior. In addition to that, I also want to use natural and warm colors throughout my design.

I wanted the design of the chair to inspire playful interactions or could be used to manifest a playful environment.
