This was my first time designing and making a pair of shoes. I was playing with different shapes of the heels and I found the half circle could be appealing and highlight the design of the heels, other than traditional square or thin heels on shoes, I used a half circle walnut, giving a sense of soft, organic feeling to the design by using the round shape and natural tone wood as material. More, when you put two heels together they become a ball, a full circle and this adds extra playfulness in the design, the heels are no longer basic and boring.
